Capsule Shaping Agent Features

TYSON® Capsule Shaping Agent regulates the density of the colloid network, providing uniform support to the capsule shell. After shaping, shape is normalized into the cylindrical shape of hard capsules or the elliptical shape of soft capsules.

TYSON® Capsule Shaping Agent functions stably at normal temperature (25℃ ± 5℃), high humidity (RH 60%-80%), or low temperature (5-10℃), avoiding the softening, adhesion, or hardening of the capsule shell due to changes in temperature and humidity, ensuring consistency in shape and performance during storage.

TYSON® Capsule Shaping Agent can precisely control the dissolution performance of the capsule shell through formula adjustment. It supports the rapid dissolution of ordinary capsules in the stomach (within 30 minutes) and can also work in conjunction with enteric-coated materials to achieve targeted dissolution in the intestine, without interfering with the activity release of the contents (such as probiotics, enzyme preparations).

TYSON Capsule Shaping Agent has good fluidity in powder or liquid form. When mixed with membrane raw materials, it disperses evenly without lumps, and can directly connect with the shell-forming and molding process of the fully automatic capsule filling machine, shortening the mixing and blending time and improving the capsule-making efficiency.

TYSON Capsule Shaping Agent has high shaping efficiency. With an addition amount of only 1%-3% in the membrane material, it can significantly improve the shaping effect and stability. Small dosage and precise effect, It not only ensures the capsules quality without increasing excessive raw material costs, but also balance safety and economy.

TYSON Capsule Shaping Agent inhibits the cross-linking and aging of membrane material molecules during long-term storage, keeping the capsule shell soft and intact within the shelf life of 12-24 months, without “reversion”, “hardening”, or color deterioration, and extending the effective shelf life of the product.
